Senior Certified Public Accountant
Tostrud & Temp, S.C. is actively seeking an ambitious CPA to join our growing public accounting firm.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in private or public accounting, CPA license preferred
- Ability to clearly communicate with clients both verbally and in writing
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability and willingness to work additional hours as needed
Responsibilities include:
- Audits of financial statements of local governments, non-profits and housing authorities
- Preparation of individual and business income tax returns and financial statements
- Reviewing and adjusting client accounting records as needed to produce accurate balance sheets and income statements for use in preparing client business tax returns.
- Communicating with clients to resolve accounting questions, coordinate tax filings and assist with special projects
